headlight not working?

Default headlight not working?
i picked up a 08 XL883 last week, 0 miles on it. just today the headlight isnt working. am i missing something here? ive been reading the owners manuel and service manuel front and back and cant figure out why its not turning on in the first place.

any suggestions? im still learning the ins and outs of the bike

yes, the headlight itself is not working at all. the first thing i thought was a blown fuse? the bike has less than 40 miles on it just from riding it back from the dealership. any thing else that could cause it that i might be overlooking?

take it back to the dealer and make them figure it out. should be working perfect if you just got it from the dealer

yeah, i might have to. just kinda annoying that a brand new bike that hasnt been out of the dealership for less than a week already has a problem

yeah i would take it back and have them do another "one over" on the bike to make sure everything is working properly

Is the tail light working? If not check the "lights" fuse.
