I kno a guy with a raked and lengthened 1200c...05 I think...
To me, the proportions look wrong.
10 inch rear shocks and a 21 inch front wheel would probably give a much better and more functional look.
i kno its off topic but im throwing the idea around in my head of maybe doing a springer front on my nightster down the road. how do \\;you guys think it would look?
I'm not a big fan of the raked trees set-up only. Plus, those prices are crazy! My front end work was about 1/2 of that!
Also, just look at the 2nd photo on that AME site, \\; Harley section. The Sportster in that pic looks awful with that set-up(in my opinion).
ahh man do not do that... raked trees are a joke.... exp on a nightster! that would ruin the whole set up and look of the bike... i also wonder how it would trail... no way... DEF LOOK INTO THE SPRINGER! that would be SICK! or a front end off a ST bob with the 49 mm tubes woudl look real tuff on the front end of the sporty! you should be able to find that pretty cheap wiht alot of the st bobs going to springers now a days
