I dont see how you'd get 90 inches out of the the old 4 cammer, make it emissions compliant \\;and fit it in the narrow frame, I think more accurately what you are hearing is that the 09 XR1200 is supposed to have 90 HP

the modifications made to the XR1200 engine, which produces 90 HP, will be implemented in the other sportster models.
that may or may not be true, its just what i heard. but it sounds WAY more realistic than a 90ci or 90cc sporty HAHA
