I am going to try the ebay thing and sell the tank and stock shocks off my 06 1200R in my sig pic. \\; I have never sold anything like this before and really don't know what either is worth. \\; I am trying to save up for the paint job on my new tank. \\; Any input is greatly appreciated.

No offense, but they're worth what someone else is willing to pay. \\; I would say your stuff would have several bidders on eBay, so an auction is the perfect place to sell them. \\; You can set a reserve for 50% of what the parts cost new, but personally, I'd start each item at $9.99 with no reserve, \\;and what they sell for is what they're worth.
I think you will have a few bidders so you can safely start it low to save on fees and I'm sure it will be up there in price the last few hours. good rule of thumb is to see what others go for and list it when those people are getting what you would like to get for yours. I seen a whole 08 streetbob fender and tank set go for 400 bucks on ebay. the parts were take off too they were mint. I personally wouldn't sell my whole sheet metal set off a dyna for 400 bucks but hey if thats what it goes for then that what it goes for.
No offense taken Thump I just wasnt sure about any of this. \\; Good idea to see what similar items are going for Brad. \\; I may as well test the waters since this stuff is just taking up room in my shop. \\; Thanks for the input guys!
