Get ready to spend some money. Have two friends with them, and they both discovered that at 500 miles there is a mandatory visit to the dealership so they can adjust the springer front end and make sure it's sitting right on all the bearings. $300 bucks and a friendly "see you in another 500 miles for the 1,000 mile checkup!"

Thanks for the heads up... but you have to know nothing is mandatory... I've owned several Harleys over the years and none have seen the inside of a service department...

Hows the braking on a cross bones?, heard they have twin pistons on the rear but only a single on the front, very odd and not reasuring
