Well with that much oil, it should be traceable.&nbsp\\; Have you popped the air cleaner yet just to make double sure it's not coming from there?&nbsp\\; It REALLY sounds like blow by.

There was some in the filter but the amount that has come out has me worried. When I got to phoenix I cleaned up the bike and when I got back to san diego there was oil all over again.

Alot of highway riding will do that if you're running a factory A/C....you may want to look into a breather kit or A/C upgrade.

How does a new ac fix this?
&nbsp\\;
I'll try and find where the vent tube is supposed to go and see if that fixes it. I'll let you know.

The new AC will either come with a breather kit or reroute the oil that does flow into the A/C back into the carb....there are many debates as to which is more efficient, or if it's really that big an issue in the first place....honestly, just get a nice SE or K&amp\\;N kit and the problem should go away for the most part.

Could anyone explain to me where the crank vent tube is supposed to connected to? I've looked but can't see anything. I can't buy the tech manual until pay day and that's not for another week.

It's not connected to anything....it's just a breather tube.&nbsp\\; A "vent", basically.&nbsp\\;

Well then, lol...there's a small fitting coming out of the case right near the rear cylinder....just over the top of the tranny.&nbsp\\; I tried to find a pic, but was unsuccessful in doing so and I cant take one now cuz I'm at work.&nbsp\\; You just need to connect one end of the hose back onto the fitting and secure it with a hose clamp.&nbsp\\; The other end can just be routed under the seat or back near the fender behind the oil tank.

Do I need to remove anything or should I be able to see it? From the top or bottom? From the local of the hose I'm guessing it's on the right hand side of the rear of the case?
