I did consider bending the brake line, to save \\;\\\\\\;the price of the new brake line which \\;\\\\\\;anywhere from \\;\\\\\\;$55.00 to \\;\\\\\\;$70.00, and \\;\\\\\\;I am sure I'll have to reroute the throttle cable outside as well.

Fabricated clip from wide wire tie used by phone companies and power service companies. \\; Taper ends a little for looks used original screw in threaded hole from old clip. \\; \\;Photo of bars shows they are wider, a little higher and \\;a little more pull back. \\; Very comfortable.

Nice job on the clip you made. The brake line looks good that way. I did the bars today and ended up putting a reflector holder from a bicycle as a temporary clip for my brake line. I bit the bullet and ordered a new one.
