Stopped at a ACE hardware to get an extra key cut, they don't carry blank keys for bikes do I have to go to the dealer?

Thats strange because Ace was the&nbsp\\;ONLY place that was able to make a duplicate key for my '90 XLH.

The previous owner must've had a problem with keys, my bike came with 5 keys total I believe.

Try a different Ace, most have HD blanks.

Call your local dealer. Give them your VIN and credit card number. Go pick up your keys in about 2 weeks.

Just take some one elses keys they will probably work.I was at a labor day party years ago when I had my first Sportster and 5 Harleys were there.I put my key in all 5 and turned on the ignition in 4.If I could gamble with those kind of odds I would be retired.

Bet your sporty key didn't work in the big twins if so that is quite the trick
