I hate to see anyone leave - I believe that we are all lessened by the loss of even one member. I think that the people here, make this a great forum. \\;In addition, I totally disapprove of the personal attacks against the moderators which I have seen. It is NOT Mr Schuman's fault! \\;And it is NOT cool to make personal attacks against a man who is donating his time to help us all - and generally doing an \\;excellent job of a thankless task.
However, \\;I \\;have lost hope \\;that this forum will \\;be fixed. \\;I have repeatedly asked for an ETA, \\;but that question is always ignored. \\;
I work in this field for a living. It \\;just doesn't take this long to install new software, configure it, and prep \\;the archives. \\;To put this into perspective: \\;within the last two weeks, I installed a MUCH larger, MUCH more complicated suite of programs\\; custom-configured them\\; trained the users\\; and prepped \\;and attached 10 years \\;of archives. \\;I did that working last week: Tues - Fri, and this week: Tues - Weds (today). \\;And I am considered a somewhat slow worker. The client signed off tonight, that everything was finished and working fine. \\;That was one guy, \\;working alone for 6 days. \\;This forum has been broken \\;for more than 2 months. \\;You guys can get mad at me, you can attack me personally, or whatever, but THAT IS THE TRUTH. \\;Denial doesn't change anything.
So now, I can accept this forum for what it is (and what it isn't), or shut up, go elsewhere. \\;Still, it IS frustrating!

ok to clarify, i did a google search for my email address and the only result came to my post in hdforums but when i clicked it it was the OLD site, but now the "velveeta" thread is updated to the first section of the NEW site, can anyone explain this?
