1993 Sportster - Which Ignition Switch For Tank Mount Dash?
Hey gang...I am revamping my 1993 XLH 1200. The fresher-upper includes a new sportbob gas tank with a tank mount dash setup. Of course this means that I will rquire a new ignition switch which is to be mounted in the dash on top of the tank. Obviously the original switch will not work for this application. I have tried two different ignition switches so far and neither of them work. Before I go and buy another on a whim, I need to know what WILL work. My system (if original) has three wires going to the ignition switch (red, white, green). SO my question is as follows :
For a 1993 Sportster XLH 1200, when using a sportbob tank with a tank mount dash - which ignition switch do I need? A supplier and a part number would be great!!

No part #, but the only \\;info I can find is that it needs to be \\;6post \\;Fat Bob ignition switch, and then you'll need the associated relocation bracket. \\; \\;Have you tried calling the dealer or an indie to see if they can help? \\; I have the same plans for this style tank swap in the future.
