I dont have a windshield but I have seen some forum folks using Memphis Shades Quick-Detach on Nightsters. Here is one that looks good from joeshmoe:

As you know, lots of choices for pipes. I went with Drag Specialties which have lots more more oomph than stock but not over-the top. Also, retain more of the stock look but a little more aggressive cut. You can check em out on my Nightster here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=nhVIy-fTFR0
They actually sound even a little darker now that I have 1500 miles on them.
You will probably see around 120 - 130 miles per tank. Most of us seem to refill around the 100 mile mark.
I usually run a Bikers Friend Roll bag on the back (on a quick detach H-D rack) that doubles as a backrest when using the stock seat - holds lotsa stuff!

Thanks for the reply
What has proved to be incredibly useful is the black HD rack and Bikers Friend Bag. Man, Id be lost without that. I use that bag EVERYDAY. Eats up a full sized backpack stuffed with gear.
