Well I'm partial to the 4.5gal tank. Without it I would not have bought the 1200XL becuz it would not fit My style of riding. Just not a traditionalist I guess ! .....WVleo

Bought mine with an aftermarket, soon to put on a more peanut esque aftermarket, but it will still be bigger than a peanut.When you ride long distance there isn't always a gas station every 70 miles.

I like the looks of the peanut better, but the 4.5 means mama can gas up the same time I do
Maybe not such a good idea.....
