Heys guys,
I am going to switch from the stock bars on my 04 C..question is..will any bars that are 1" fit? Looking at pulled backs or buckhorns. Is there a site that shows everything involved in changing out bars?
thanks guys
RE: question about handlesbars before I switch mine
Just did my bars and you'll need a longer brake line or have to bend it. The best thing you can do \\; is get a service manual. The throttle cables will prolly have to go outside the tree.
RE: question about handlesbars before I switch mine
Dimpled/knurled 1" or stepped 1" to 1.25" will work. \\; Internal wiring is preferable, if you're swapping you might as well. \\; It looks 10 times better. \\; You also might need to look into throttle/idle cables, a clutch cable, and a brake line depending on how much you're changing distance/height, etc.

You can find your parts here http://www.vtwinmfg.com/Catalog1/VTwinCatalogIndex1.htm http://www.dragspecialties.com/fatbook
 \\;
and then type in the part number and buy here at a discount http://www.discountcycleparts.com/

Definatly run the wires inside of the bars. They are pretty easy to drill for the wires.
I also relocated the signal lights to the fork. I put 15" apes on my 1200C and needed to extend the wires 15".
Pick up the shop manual for your bike on Ebay. It really helps when doing this job.
