When the bike was new there was very little vibration. Then, after I put pipes on I started to get some vibration in the Pegs....then a bit more after the Heavy Breather and PCIII. Yesterday I got caught in the rain and maybe it was a coincidence but after about 10 minutes in the rain I felt it get worse. On the ride home it seemed very noticeable from about 2800-3500 rpm....pegs vibrating pretty bad and bars were buzzin' too.
Anyone wanna chime in about their vibrations or possible gimme a tip on how to remedy this?? \\;
I've been noticing some wicked vibs too on my nightster. \\; Usually at higher RPM's at highway speeds on the forward controls. \\; Actually I just had to replace the two bolts that hold the exhaust flange onto the motor...vibrated right off!
Due for a service pretty soon, so I'll ask the dealership about it then. \\;
JUST had it in for the 1K service 100 miles ago... and I found that the Front Motor Mount was waaaaaaay loose so I tightened that up. Then I looked at the upper motor mount bolts...one was waaaay loose and the other was GONE!!!!!!!
What did I pay $200 for, and OIL CHANGE?
They Torqued all my bolts? ya right!!!!!
