Many companies (paint) make a flattening agent for their clear. You can use just the "Hotrod" flat or clear it for more protection using a flattening agent. Satin is somewhat shiney and different than the true flat paint. I do know some who rattle can paint their bikes also.

Funny you should say that,,i recently saw a bike painted with rhino box liner spray.
Looked cool,,prolly stands up pretty good as well.

You can paint that with rattle can. You just paint it with flat paint and if if you want it flatter you clear coat it with flat clear. Harley does clear coat there flat clolors with this same process.
Clear dead flat is the secret.

I painted my bike with truck bed liner I never have to wash it just spray it off, looks good to and durable....and yes HD does apply a flat clear to their flat paint jobs....
