In a previous post you had asked if I had to replace the brake line on my 05' 1200C when I installed the 883/1200L bars. I had to wait until the problems with the forum were corrected before I could reply.
I had the stealeership put a set of Dyna Low bars put on my '05 1200C not long after I got it. I later changed these out for a set of 883/1200L bars. When the stealership changed bars, the tech said that the brake line had to be replaced.
A co-worker of mine had the set of Dyna Low Bars (that I took off of my bike) put on his '07 883C and the tech was able to rebend the metal section of his brake line and reposition the line clip instead of relpacing the line. The tech that worked on my bike must not have had as much experience (or inititive) as the tech that worked on his.
Both of these bars are a million times more comfortable than the stock 1200C back breaker bars. I actually prefer the Dyna Low Bars because they are a little wider and do not bend your wrists as much as the 883/1200L bars do.
Dyna Low - 31" wide, 5" rise, 9" pullback -- $54 polished stainless
883/1200L - 28" wide, 6" rise, 10" pullback -- $72 chrome
