Ok I know I can look at NADA but it always seems high to what you could actually get unless your a dealer.
A buddy of mine is going to sell his 08 1200 Custom. He just never got comfortable on it and to be honest is scared of it.
Its a 08 1200 Custom with about 1300 miles on it. Dealer serviced at 1000 miles. It comes with the extended service plan, Rush slip-ons, forward controls and a HD quik release windshield. Its like new and has never been layed down. Just looking for a general number for him to list it at.
We all are scared of our bikes but that doesn't keep us from riding them. Just tell him to relax and take it easy. And make sure he takes the MSF course.
Ive tried to get him to take the MSF but beyond that I let people make there own decisions on Motorcycles. I dont want to talk him into keeping it and then wind up getting hurt. It needs to be his decision.
He will probably get around 9K for it. It is too new to be selling it without taking a significant loss. But that is why you see a lot of low mileage Harleys for sale when folks just realize it was not for them.
