Hey HERR MONK, I'm going to be 67 soon, have had 24 bikes, been riding 45 years, own a 08 1200C with stuff, this is my last bike, I ride long and I ride it hard, it's all in the person who is doing the riding. It's Sportsters for me, sore a$$ or not. I would not own a geezer glide or a fagger bagger, and I wear a$$less chaps and fingerless gloves. I'm a site to see. (This is not to start a war here, just in reply to "over 65 years of age"). Ride safe, enjoy life, do YOUR thing.
I should have just said "Be Old" since not all 67 year olds are old I guess, and some are done by 50...
I am a girl, but everybody that sees my Nightster say, "That's not a girl's bike!"
And, My boyfriend has more fun riding mine than his Night Train. (And, it's quicker. He's jealous.)
Sloptails are for lookin' cool, not riding. Was he surprised? I'm always shocked how many, especially guys, just assume the big V-Twin, because they are big, will be faster... really cracks me up when they thing their 120ci custom will outrun a 600cc four-banger... silly kids.
man i LOVE the nightster...for me it was between that and the custom, and i ended up doing the custom just cuz i had to have the chrome. but everytime i look at a nightster (may fav is the viv black one) I just drool. get one.

He wasn't surprised. He predicted it. (smart boy.) But, when he tells people, they don't believe him.
