Default winter projects

well im starting to plan my winter projects and this is what i have so far for my 08 nightster it already has the 10" hd mini apes v&h shortshots fwd controls and two up shocks with mustang solotripper seat.

my winter plans:
stage 1
matte black paint and old school pinstriping
4.5 gallon tank
springer front end(anyone recommend a good brand?)
and red rims with white walls.
im also considering putting higher risers on or taller bars.

any input or suggestions are welcome. im rele interested in the springer mainsly because i havent seen it on any other nightsters yet.

Please don't mention winter, summer never really got started up here. We even had termination dust on the mountians last month. No clue where to get a springer front end for a sporty, but I did see one at the dealer a little while back, looked bitchin'. Anyways I plan on doing a little motor work this winter, new heads and cams since I'm already at stage 1.5, and perhaps progressive shocks and springs as well.

good luck with the springer, the biggest reason i have heard that a springer wont work is cuz it hits the tank on full lock. i know paugho makes one but its like 2000, also i think led sled customs will custom build one and redneck engineering does to i think. it will look great if you do.

Check redneck engineering, they started off with sportsters. Used to be their bread and butter.
