If you or a buddy has a torch and a welder you can make one for about $4.

If you want the detacheable sideplates, mounting hardware, sissybar & pad ya got no choice but HD parts and it will run ya $$$ even buying it through a discount dealer like www.zanottimotor.com (where I ord. mine from). I've had the setup for a couple years and looked for a long time on ebay etc. for all the parts used with little luck or almost same price as new so I just ordered new parts. I actually just sold my med/low bar for almost new $ to get a taller one and the guy I sold it to said he had trouble as well finding all the parts used. If you keep an eye out or make a post about wanting to find a setup you might get lucky as some folks that trade or sell their bikes often part out stuff.

You could checkout www.haulenass.com. Only thing is they are somewhat low profile. No side plates, mounts with two bolts under the seat. Real strong and rigid.
