Default Fuel pump noise

I'm familiar with the normal fuel pump whine when starting the bike but today it made like a squealing sound... louder, and continued for the first few swconds after I started the bike. Then it mellowed out and was OK. Problem? The bike did sit for a couple days without being started. Usually even when I don't ride I start it just to hear it.

I could have been backed up pressure escaping. I sometimes hear it whine after turning it off.

Ran fine. Just a weird noise I never heard before. I have about 1500 miles on the bike.

I notice that same sound after the bikes sits for a few days - but only for a few seconds and then as long as I ride every day ..nothing ..until it sits again for 2 or 3 days

Do yall think opening the tank prior to starting could let the built up pressure off? I know with the heat the vapor could expanded and releasing any pressure could help.

I don't think it's caused by pressure in the tank. The bike was in a cool garage so there shouldn't have been any pressure due to heat. If it is caused by pressure I'm not really concerned... just want to make sure it's not some sort of mechanical failure.
