Default spedometer relocate

Has anyone relocated their spedo to the side of the frame on older sportsters without digital spedo's. Mine has a cable and was wondering if it would relocate easily.

I know someone did it with a nightster on here, but I think it's a newer one.

Yes, you can relocate it. Just need a mount and a cup for the speedo to sit in.

Just relocated the speedo on my nightster today with an autometer clamp from summit racing.

i relocated mine a little different than most people have. i just simply modified a L bracket and used the gas tank bolt to mount it and another bolt to mount the stock speedo to. no vibration. has held up strong for 2500+ miles and made it so i didn't have to find another place for my dummy lights. and best of all it cost me $.69 to do.
