Arrow Air Cleaner help...

Hey Everyone,

I want to change out the air cleaner on my 07 Nightster to either the Forcewinder, S/E Heavy Breather or Arlen Ness Big Sucker. The stealer said that the Heavy Breather is only for 08 and newer, and 06 and later. I have a hard time believing that that much was changed from 07 to 08 that makes it not fit.
Also, with the Forcewinder and the Big Sucker, I cant find a part number that will fit an 07XL. All the catalogs say 06 and older.
I know I have seen a ton of bikes out there that have changed their air cleaner units. Anyone have a part number, an idea of how to convince the stealer that the heavy breather will fit or anything??
I really like the look of the Big Sucker, so that would be my first choice.

Can someone throw a girl a bone and help me out please???

Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure the heavy breather will fit an 07, as I was just at the dealer last weekend talking to a guy about one, though i havent installed one yet myself. The only ones we discussed were the s/e and the k&n. So i couldnt help on the others. but my understanding is the 07 and 08 engines are identical. i could be wrong?

Dennis Kirk is out of Stock for the Arlen Ness Big Sucker for your bike. To bad its a nice price for a complete kit with cover. But you can get the Manufacture part number and try to find it elsewhere.

First off...Thanks for the service.... Check Ebay for the Ness kits, as well. That's where I found my BS II with cover.

Thanks guys...
I appreciate the support for the service. Honestly, there is nothing that I would rather be doing :-)

I think the problem I may have been having with the Big Sucker is that I was looking at the Stage I instead of the Stage II.

I don't think you will have a problem with installing the 08 Heavy Breather part number on the 07. They are both FI bikes with no changes from 07 to 08.

Funny thing is that the catalog says it will only fit 08 and newer but I know for a fact as well as a few already have said that it will fit an 07. I like the ness B/S cause it uses a single screw to attach cleaner covers and that means there will be tons of covers for you to choose from to style your ride.
