Just beware mano. It does say they take a 3/4 axle and that they won't fit 04 up. I guess you and I will be the test mules. If I get one and it doesn't work, I'm pretty sure I have it sold already, lol.
Pick up a DNA or an ebay special for a BT, grind off your fork stops and steering lock brackets and run internal stops if they are a problem when installing it (IF they are a problem). Swap to an 03 or earlier HUB (not entire wheel) have it relaced and trued...BAM, ya got a damn springer.
If you want a chopper or a bobber....then get to ****in' choppin and bobbin. Not everything is made to just bolt right up, trust me on this one.
from what i understand they're really squirlly and don't make for a comfy ride but to each his own. post some pics though if you do go ahead with it. good luck!
I'd like to find a springer front end for my nightster as well. I just put some Roland Sands Short Stacks on it, pulled the stock speedometer and put a LED mini in down between the risers with the "top hat" cap. It looks pretty neat. I've already put too much into a bike I just run around town with, but hey we can't take it with us.
