Default windshield bag

Im looking to put a windshield bag on my sportster but I see the speedometer wont allow me to do it. I saw a "raise it bracket" in J&P cycle but Im not sure if it will work on my windshield. Has anyone ued this bracket or have any other ideas on mounting a windshield Bag?

Can't help you with the windshield bag but I noticed you have a sundowner seat on your sportster. How do you like it? My wife has an 05 1200C with a Badlander seat and finds it very uncomfortable and is looking for a new seat.

We are considering the Saddleman Pro Tour seat or the C & C Fastback seat.
She is 5'7" and weighs about 140 ( only a guess of course, Ha!).
She has Harley locking leather hardbags so doesn't have a lot of room for a wide seat.

Your comments on your Sundowner would be appreciated.

I love my sundowner seat. I had some modifications done to it since I got it. I had a Gel pad installed and had some foam removed to lower me some because I felt I was sitting just alittle bit high. Now I can ride all day on it.

I used a bench grinder to remove enough metal from the middle of the support bracket on the HD Two-Pocket Windshield Pouch model to allow it to not rub on the speedometer. Took off enough to make sure it didn't rub on the speedometer when riding, since there is some flexing when on the road. Works great and provides very useful storage for garage door opener, wallet, glasses, etc.

Can't you just mount it to the outside of the windshield? My only question then, is what kind of wind noise/resistance is it going to create? I've got this same issue and I'm wondering how to go about mounting one myself.
