I bought a 99-03 speedo bracket and notched it out as well as the Clamp to get the Indicator lights in there...A HUGE pain in the Arss!!
As per your grips:
Why did you glue them?
You could try WD40...

Very sorry to revive such an old thread however I did not see anywhere in here the height of the risers used in the OP. Thats a great looking bike and I want to use those risers and bars on mine. If anyone knows the answer i'd appreciate it. Thanks.
