wide glide on my sportster

any body here ever put a wide glide front end on their sportster..they sell the kit so you can take off that narrow front end on my 94 883xlh..its only 600 and you even get brakes and tire and rim 21in mine only has a 19in on it ...any feed back would be great...or a pic..

I am thinking I want to give this a go and possibly go with a fatter front tire and toss my front fender to the curb.

I have seen it done do some searches and you should be able to find some pics.

My 1998 Xl with 5 degrees Rizoma wide glide triple tree and 19" front wheel, before I modified it
to cafe racer style :

Ok dumb question time:::: besides the difference of the obvious of 39MM to 41 MM what do you gain by makeing the change to a wide glide front end.

those are some sweet bikes....nice job...i really like the 97 with the wide bars ...i think my 94 sportster looks good now ..but it could look like that 97, im in...i am ordering that front end asap...thanks for the pics ...ps france looks cool...alot different than around here city life..
