I have a 2001 Harley Davidson Hugger 883 ... I have an add oil leak I cant figure out ... can someone help me?
I had someone look at it and since the oil looked like it was coming from the clutch cable boot ... he said that it must have too much oil in it ... so he took the derby cover off and he said it had "way too much oil" in it and it was being forced back up the line ... but that has been fixed and it still leaks ... I have a puddle of oil right under the rubber boot that is on the clutch cable ... Anyone know what else to check ... everything looks dry and I cant figure out what to check out next.
Thanks

If it was forcing up the line it may continue to leak for quite a while as the cable is probably drenched now.
I would give it some time and try to monitor how much it leaks, if it is just residual oil coming out it should leak less & less until it finally gets completly drained.
