I've got an 07 Nightster. In the service manual it says the coil resistance is between 0.3 ohm and 0.7 ohm. I'd like to change my coils and found a set of dynatek with a rating of 0.7 ohm. This is the only set I found that will bolt DIRECTLY to the bracket I want to install.
My question: Is there any harm in using this new set of coils since the resistance is at the higher end of the spectrum? It's within the range, but since I am not an expert in this area I just want to make sure that I am not going to have any output losses (less than stock). The new set of coils is said to produce over 30,000 volts (if that helps figure anything out).
