I have an 04 roadster that I want to put drag bars on. Do you guys have a bar set up that will not require me to change my cables, wires and brake lines? How about a favorite brand of chrome bar? I think I have a stock riser and I want to keep it that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I put 30in drags on my 1200C. I had to reroute my clutch cable through the forks, but other than that I didn't have to change anything. I got them really cheap from Debrix Cycles.
These are 32" drags with stock riser and cables, no problems.
Don't get 27" drags or you may have problems with hitting the tank or triple trees with the brake reservour or banjo bolt.
Sorry not the best pics in the world.
Yes you need the dimples, if not you can notch your switch housing with a file to run the wires out or get drilled bars and wire internally but that's a lot of work soldering and heat shrinking.
