No offense to the new bike owners here, but there's no way in hell I'd pay 10K for a Sporty.
Tons of good used ones out there that need some lovin.
I'm with Shu on this one. A sporty is not worth 10k or more. I know you can find a killer used one with next to no miles for way less and probably with a stage one kit installed already.
hey,in pa with all the xtras i could get a sporty out the door for around 8-8.5.but i agree get 1 a couple yr old for around 6 or so.with xtras.my kid got a 05 1200c loaded with se goodies and chrome everywhere for 7.5 out the door.
for sure, i picked up my 04 1200cstm for $7400 with 5k on the clock....it still looks brand new...pick one up used, let some one else spend the money modding it out, way better deal imo.
worked out good for me too, i put 6k down on it and financed the balance. which leaves me more coin to throw at the bike and the house.
I bought used as well, but let's not give CHIP too harda time. Someone has to buy the new bikes so we can buy them used.
for chip, I bet when you get a written quote from another neighboring dealer your local dealer will be glad to meet it giving you the best of both worlds.
well i got mine for 8k 1200c 05 with 1200miles on it stage 1 complete. absolutly flawless paint. bassani exhaults progressive shocks solo seat aftermarket carb factory security system smoke lens hypercharger. i have all the old parts also. think i came out ok
MississippiBoy, I am between Jackson and Memphis so I could drive either way. I thought I would try to deal with a Mississippi dealer, but for the savings I will go to Memphis.
A buddy of mine just bought a Nightser from them (Southern Thunder) and ended up paying over 12k for his. I don't think he did any research on what they are going for.
