Thanks Joe, I would appreciate it if you could actually do that. I'd like to get some hands on experience with the bike and this would be a simple job to start with.
And what about the gaskets, could I reuse them? The indy put new ones in when this exhaust went on last week.
I'll make a nice detailed post that will be worthy of putting on the stickys on the top of the forum
but im going out right now.
I'll do it tomorrow during the day and have it posted by night. I dont know the time difference from where you are but im in socal, and it will be posted before 9 PM my time, so check it around then (adjusted for time) or whatever you need to do to make sure you see if when I post it
i think it will be better as a thread than a PM, it could be useful to more people

Joe...you da man!
I agree...this is an easy thing to do and a great way to get your hands dirty. I did almost this same thing a couple months ago (removed baffles and installed quiet baffles) to get my own hands dirty and found it was MUCH easier than I thought.
there are tons of 02 manuals out there... hunt the forums and internet... i put a link up a while back for free maual down loads but it was pulled ASAP from the site... hunt they are out there... hell if i can find one for a TX500 1974 yamaha that was made for only 2 years... you can def find one for this bike!
Yeah every now and then I see one for specifically 02.
I've read some more stuff and some included things like what Joe and some others on here have said, that the cones w/ my setup is hurting more than its helping. Sucks its winter now, I really want to go test ride a stock 883 from a dealership to get myself in the same ballpark as to how my bike is running. I'm still not convinced "its just an 883." I gotta give the damn thing 1/2 - 3/4 throttle to be able to keep up/out run traffic (not expressway traffic, just normal traffic). I've seen scooters with better acceleration. I won't be convinced until I test ride but unfortunately the closest one is a few hours away I believe and with the weather I doubt they'd let me do it.
Hopefully I'll be able to remove the torque cones w/ Joe's guide this weekend and give it a spin see how it goes (before and after to compare).
