What I did was to go to Auto Zone and bought the black plastic high pitch horn, for about 12.00,sounds about like the horn on my Electra, only thing is to kind of bend the mouting bracket back towards the engine,so that the feder will not contact the horn.
I mounted a replacement car horn from JCW on mine. great at low speeds, but suffers a bit at high speeds because it points forward and scoops air. It is black, but I had to make a replacement mounting bracket. Don't know (offhand) where the horn mounts on a Nightster, but it shouldn't be too difficult to mount and the horn is inexpensive. I'm going to try a boat horn next. ;-)
