change fork oil question
2 place a pan under fork and remove small philips head screw to drain oil
3 remove dust cover
4 pry up dust seal
5 remove allen screw from bottom of the forks
6pull the retaining clip out of the lower arm that secures the oil seal in place
7 with slide hammer motion pop the lower arm off the tube
NOTE the oil seals will have to be tapped in when replacing so once you slide them on the tube use a piece of PVC to slide hammer it back into place.
8 replace the oil seal (you might want to replace to dust cover seals too)
9 Reassemble and go for a ride
if you are still having a problem with the firmness of the forks then a 1 oz of oil at a time over factory recommended amount. the whole thing should run @ 60 bucks including the 2 dust seals 2 oil seals and 2 qts of fork oil type E
