Good job MOCO. Another nice looking Sportster, but I would not be happy if I was a Nightster owner. That black powder coat engine on the 883 Iron looks way better than the gray in my opinion.
Nice looking bike, but it just doesnt make sense to me. They already have the nightster which is an sweet bike. Why water down the product line with almost identical bikes. If they were looking for a more affordable nightster, buyers should just wait till March when there will be tons of used nightsters for sale at dealers from the trade in promo going on.
I keep hoping they release a blacked out bagger. Nightster, Crossbones, Steet Bob, Vrod muscle. Come on MOCO, where is my the "night glide"?
It is designated the XL883N which makes sense. I wonder why they renamed it not that it isn't a cool name.
My guess is they didnt want to go the same route as with the rest of the Sportster family and that they are trying to market the new Iron as a totally new bike. I guess plain old XL883N would have been too boring, but .give it a new and exciting name then people show interest. Its working.
