FOSTER -Ya bike is so sick! Oh man ya got the best looking setup with that V&H Indy outlaw Pipe How ya Like it got many miles on it yet.
Then ya go top it off with that bitchin A/C great choice.
I dont have any experience of either, but for those who like the design of the RSD aircleaner you might want to at least take a look at the Vance & Hines one which from memory appears slightly similar to me, but I believe is more blacked out. Unfortunately I cant get their web page to open from work, so unable to provide a link.
I'm back home now so here is the link to the V&H cleaner. As I say, I've no experience of either, but its a similar shape and might appeal to those who want a more blacked out look.
Put it on this morning. Rode around for about 10 miles. It sounded awesome. You can hear it sucking. It felt like a smoother ride than my SE stage 1 cleaner as well. Plus I think it looks bitchin.
Pretty easy to install papa? forgot to tell u to make sure u remove the original bracket i had to install it twice alot of fun trying to pull off the cover plate with rtv sealant. I am still contemplating spraying the silver mesh black. What do you think about that?
Took me about 45 mins. I didn't want to screw anything up so I took my sweet as time. But pretty straight forward. I like the contrast look the silver brings. I think if you paint it black, it won't stand out as much. The mesh will get lost. Plus, at least on the new one, there's not as much silver on it. I like how the small amounts of silver match the pushrod covers, rocker boxes, and end caps on my bars. Just MHO.
I think you may be right ,maybe if i black out the rockers and pushrods then the black will be needed but for now that little bit of bling makes it noticeable.
