Like he said '07. And nothing really happened between then and now... I know that the custom models got upgraded shocks in '09, but I don't really know if it is noticable... This is the only sporty I've ever ridden.

you say custom models got upgraded shocks in 09? I was at a hog ralley in 08 and the vp of engineering for harley was there. I told him we needed better shocks on sportys, he wrote it down. I dont know if that had anything to do with it. That would be wild if I helped changed things for the better.

All sportster models got a lower front fender for the 09 model year. If you actually look for it and notice it, it looks SO MUCH better. Before you could fit two fingers between the tire and front fender, now barely 1 will fit.
