Cable Change Questions
My idle and throttle cables are shot. Bought some new ones but have a couple of problems...
First, one of the housing screws is stripped (head). I'll likely drill it out and replace it, but does anyone know what size it is - 1/8" hex head, but the threads? And are replacement screws easily available? Common thing?
Also, at the carb, how easy is it to R&R the idle cable. I'm pretty sure it's the inside cable and looks like it's difficult to get the slug into the governor (?) to attach it. Or should I pull the carb off?

well hell got the same problem on my 98fatty went on a 100 mile breakfast run sun mornin made it 4 blocks from home when my throttle cable snapped rode home in first gear when I open it up the throttle cable was toast and the idle was frayed to within an inch of its life manual says I need to pull the fuel tank bummer hopefully my local indy can hook me up with a set of cables???if notJ&P 70 bucks shipped good luck
