Went for my first ride today too. First ride of the DAY. 80 degrees, shorts and a t-shirt (ya, I know, that's just who I am), along the Intracoastal Waterway clocking the boats on a Chamber-of-Commerce day.
Now I'm enjoying my afterglow.
Welcome to riding, be safe and keep that smile. 41 years and I still smile every day I ride!
i too wanted to ride today, got her all polished and waxed and started a lil pre-ride inspection for the start of the season and $&^&(((&&**%%%&& would'nt you know it 10 psi up front and 12 in the rear. guess what, NO TIRE PUMP, all my buddies have upright compressor units and all my neibors are retired with no children.....so i'll be stopping by the bicycle store on the way home from work to pick up a floor pump (i need one anyways) because the next 2 days are gonna be in the 60's i should roll up to my hd dealer and grab dinner at their diner tomorrow night.

what's all this first ride of season crap? I've riding mine year round for the last to years...there is NO end to riding season. Just last week I was out cruising with 6 in snow on the shoulders and 24 degree temps......
welcome to the forums from downstate! Don't worry, the weather will turn soon. Just think of the rest of us who have been waiting all winter for the weather to turn.
