I just installed my Arlen Ness Big Sucker and what a differance. I like it alot. I did install a PC III with it and i can tell a huge change in performance. i have also ridden bikes with other aircleaners and i just don't think the performance changed that much. I would have to agree with xFreebirdx and cHarley.
Bringing back my old thread. Before I was not wanting to dish out the cash. For a Stage 1 Air Cleaner, the D&M Spear series should suck in enough air, correct? I can't decide between it and the RSD Venturi. I know the RSD Venturi is a better cleaner, but I really like the look of the D&M Spear.
Both are fine. Get the one you like better and flows with your bike.
I just realized that the D&M Air Filters are going to require me to get seperate mounting hardware. Not sure how much that is going to run me, where to find it, or if it would have to be custom. Guess there is a reason that not too many people have it on their Sporties.
Fits Twin Cam and '93-'99 EvolutionŽ 1340 carbureted models equipped with Screamin' EagleŽ Air Cleaner Kits (cone shaped filter). See your dealer for specific applications.
Anyone think this might fit on a sportster over a big sucker? I don't think it will, any input would be great.
On top of what Slaps says, if I do a stage 1 cleaner do you think that cover will fit? I know it fits twin cams, and 93-99 Evo carbs. But how hard would it be to get it to fit an 09 Delphi EFI?

Yuh know? Arlen Ness can and would be the best to ask that question.
