Welcome from Michigan.
Been cold here all Winter and this Spring. My first Harley was a 2000 1200-C Loved it. Only thing I didn't like was the vibration at highway speeds. I sold it to my Brother and got a 06 rubber mount 1200-C, that took car of that problem. I still get to drive my old 2000 every so often. Still love it. My Brother is going to sell it this Spring and buy a BT, I hate to see it go...

Congrats. Ken and welcome.
Can't help you with your throttle problem but hopefully someone here can give you some advice.
I bet you'll love the Sportster. I had two of them ..883 and 1200 and really liked them.
All Harley's are awesome.

Welcome and many congratulations on your new toy. You won't be disappointed.
Where are you from in Maine? I am originally from Brunswick, but exiled down in Virginia until I can move back.
That short riding season is the only drawback about living up there...well, that and mud season. I do miss it, however. I will get back eventually. In the meanwhile, I am planning on riding up this summer on my 09 road glide. Now that is going to be a great trip!
