Same old handlebar question
I have an 04 sportster, It came with drag bars and the stock riser. I want to put on 12 in mini apes but im gonna have to extend the cables/wireing. Ive looked high and low. I cant seem to get a clear answer as to what Im lookin for. If anyone can help please reply. Id like to know what size cables I need to make this work. I dont wnat to order something and have it not work. If theres a post I missed send me the link. Any help with be appreciated. I was at my local dealer and they looked at me like I had a di** growing out of my ear!

I should mention I went with new lower risers. I belive they are 1 1/2 inches

every one asks this question (including me when i did mine) and you just won't get the answer (from what i have seen) here is the sucky truth, ya need to get the bars then measure for cables during a mock up then order them, it takes longer 
but its the best way to do it...i hate waiting just as much as the next guy but its what i did
