OK, so after commuting all winter

I really gave the nightster a thorough cleaning today....Mothers prep, wax, carnuba..all three steps...

I love the all black because it's easy to clean, and wax..Like a car

The chrome is a bitch

Here's my question...I am seeing minor rust developing around the stainless stuff, below the triple tree.in several places (all chrome or stainless)

How do I remove and inhibit future rust?

I've used steel wool before and it does wonders at taking rust off. I don't think you can ever stop the rust, you just have to keep after it.

turtle wax makes a chrome polish and rust remover...I ride year round and I'm always fighting rust great product...Just my 2cents
