Our local wally world is now carrying a cleaning product called pig spit, Has anyone tryed this ? Just wondering if its any good ! Rode 250 miles today so I gotta wash and clean the bug guts off my pork chop tomorow. Thanks
Unless it's a different product this was called Pig Spit Engine Cleaner. It's a silicone based product and was made especally to clean the black wrinkle paint on engines.
I've used it in the past on engines, and it does a good job. Haven't really used it on other parts of the bike though.
Best product I've used for cleaning the rest of a bike is called "Boms Away". Instantly removes tarnish, stains, oxidation, scuff marks, rust, etc.... I found out about it from some guys that used it on stainless and chrome pipes to remove the gold/blueing..
I asked my dealor before i bought it. Says yes it works but if you want one that works really good, put it back and get the Honda cleaner. I got it and it works great and use it after every ride.
