Default drag bars

What all do I need if I want to swap out stock for drag bars on my 2005 883L?

Do I need just the bar? Do I need different risers? Thanks.

Any pictures would help too.

just the bar will do it, how tall are your risers? 4 in risers shoud do it depending on the riding position you want lot of guys go shorter, the only issue you may have is you brake line being to long, but HD makes a short one....or you can bend ur factory one around to make it fit....other cables while they maybe a little long will work

I am just running bars also. I loosened up the the break line and rapped it around the bar to take up the slack. I rapped my brake line mainly because I worried about bending the metal fitting on the primary braking system on the bike. I would swap to short lines, but I am not sure if I have decided to stick with the stock risers or 4" risers and plan to put a few more miles on before making up my mind to go with the 4" risers.

right now I have all stock on the bike. I was trying to decide whether I needed to just get the bars as many of you are saying, or if I needed to get taller risers.

I have noticed these "T" bars and that is what promoted me to ask the question. You guys know anything about them? Is it worth it or are bars alone a better option here?

I think a drag bar on stock risers looks better than a T-Bar but thats just my opinion. I would try the bar on stock risers before spending the money on new risers. You can always get the taller ones down the road if you dont like the riding position.
