Default Clutch pull

Is there any way to reduce the pull required to operate the clutch lever?

Do you mean something along the lines of an easy pull clutch? Lots of them out there..@ $40-$50...can lighten the pull by about 50%.

Another note if you haven't lubed and adjusted the clutch cable in a while it will make a very big difference.

on the easy pull what exactly does it consist of and do?

My buddies ultra was real hard to pull i lubed the cable for him and adjusted it correctly and its about 50% better it was too tight and not lubricated on his bike.

There are several brands that claim to reduce the clutch pull...this is the one I had on my FB..
http://search.harley-davidson.com/?q...05&x.x=3&x.y=7

I don't claim to have any knowledge on the technical side, so not really sure to be honest how it does what it does...but the clutch pull was like butter.

According to the link, that only fits Twin-Cams.

Thanks guys. I knew there had to be someone else who was tired of the heavy pull. By the way I rode a new Dyna Supper Glide Custom yesterday. That clutch was as light and smooth as a 250 Honda. SWEET !! I am in love.

The clutch pull on my XL1200 has always been harder than on my wife's XL883. And when she had an FLSTC, that clutch was still lighter than my XL1200.

FYI, HD reduced the clutch pull on Sporties in, I believe, 2006.
