Main two diffrences I see off the bat are rims and bars... The 2nd bike has lil' taller (buckhorn's I think) bars and the aluminum wheels.

Also can't tell for sure but, it looks like the top bike may have a peanut tank?

As far as the height, I can't tell with the angle of the 2nd bike.

i think it's the seats. both look like stock suspension, stock pipes. Both are 1200C's. The bottom bike has custom airbrushing, and what looks like a lepera or mustang solo seat. And they have different bars. That's the only real differences i notice.

I'd say the camera angle makes the difference.

Illusion of forced perspective (trump 'loi = to tick the eye).

Camera angle on top bike doesn't show much of the sides, so it looks lower.

Seat is on-up so it looks narrower than it's 2-up counterpart, so your eye interprets this a farther away.

Buckhorns on top bike are farther from the seat, so using the bars as a reference frame, the seat looks much lower.

Pic's can be deceiving and the bikes may have been modded but:
Speedo location/riser, headlight visor, 19" front wheels and mid controls indicate they are not 1200C's. However, they both appear to have 4.5 gal tanks and in 06, to my knowledge, that only came on the 1200C model.

The camera angle is what's giving that effect.

I think camera angle is a factor.
Top Bike is it a Low or a Custom ? and the seat makes it seem taller than the solo seat bike.

Camera angle and seat.

I have an 06 1200 low and it has the 19 inch front wheel and the 4.5 gallon tank. When I have the Sundowner on it looks a lot higher, when I have the Brawler on it looks a lot lower.
