Default Cruising with one hand

I never go through town with one hand, sometimes on the highway. I often see riders with full protective gear then riding with one hand through town. I think it's safer with a t-shirt and cut-offs riding with two hands.

I ride one handed all the time. Not so much in town, cause of the need for the clutch.

That's the great thing about freedom, or what we have left of it.

To Each Their Own Choice.

I think I have to disagree with your comment. If you are riding one handed and you see a potential hazard then you can put both hands on the bars in less than a second. If you are riding in t-shirt and cut-offs, after a second you are still in t-shirt and cut-offs.

Personally, I usually ride with both hands on the bars. Though I will take a hand off to stretch. Personal choice.

I ride with one had alot but on the highway. I use my hands all day at work so on the way home I set cruise and and usually ride with my left hand on the bars since my right hand is usually sore or tired from working all day

I do it a lot. It's pretty comfy on long rides.

Whats the big deal again? I don't see how it would be dangerous, unless you stop the bike without using clutch. Even then you would just stall it. When you use your right hand to turn the right bar, funny enough, the left goes with it regardless of if your hand is on it. I don't really go one handed or no handed, but I think it would be ok. Definately safer than goin t-shirt and shorts, though I'm usually just wearin the shirt jeans around town. Though I don't think that would cause the accident either.
