Default HELP! Brake problems

I added this post in the technical area this morning, but no help so far. I know you guys rawk, so here goes: I put on my new exhaust on my Iron 883 this holiday weekend, and now my rear brakes won't release from the disk. They're seized up. When I ride, I have to keep my foot under the brake lever and pull it up, or my brakes just rub away while I'm driving. Any tips?

It is; I just don't want them to say it's not covered because I did the pipes.... I know they try to get out of anything they can.

Are the pipes or any of the associated hardware interfering with the rear brake rod or pedal on the right hand side of the bike?

Not at all. I had to unscrew the brake rod to attach the new bracket, but nothing is touching it. I shimmied the pads away from the disc and it holds, until I press down on the brake pedal. Then it seizes up again.

Did you miss any pieces while putting the rod back in, or is it just not adjusted how it was before you took it off?

There are no "pieces". Just a bolt with a round head that the brake rod attaches over. The bolt screwed back in fine, and everything was a breeze, until I drove it down the road.

I'm just gonna take it in tomorrow and let the dealership take care of it. If it costs me any $$, you guys might not see me here on the forum for a looooong time (my wife will kill me for this money pit).

Don't you know that you can't own a Harley and be happily married, without having a secret slush fund.
