My wife runs a 08 nightster and wants to Bob it a little.
If the stock wheels are (F - 19 x 2.15) and (R - 16 x 3.50), then how wide of a wheel and tire combo will fit in the stock frame without rubbing? the stock tire sizes are (F 100/90/19 and R 150/80/16)
She already has a 150 rear tire. There's a 240 kit from J&P that will definitely fatten it up but that's probably going to be too much for a bob. I really like the look of my stock tires now that they're all exposed.
I too am very interested in this subject. I've been searching for a couple of days now. I've been going over and over on the cost of putting a 16" on the front but it's a little out of budget.
